Child Safety & Wellbeing Policy

This Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy outlines how PerformX prioritises the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children and young people who participate in our programs. It explains the principles and practices we follow to create a child-safe culture and prevent harm in our out-of-school activities. The purpose of this policy is to clearly set out our commitment to child safety and wellbeing and to outline the expectations we have for our staff, volunteers, families, and the broader PerformX community. It provides guidance on how we embed child safety into our everyday operations and how we respond to any concerns of abuse or harm. This policy has been developed in line with the 11 Child Safe Standards set by the Victorian Government and reflects our responsibilities under the Child Wellbeing and Safety Act 2005 (Vic). It supports our ongoing efforts to ensure all children feel safe, respected, and heard.
